Day 01  DAY 01: DENPASAR - WAINGAPU - WAIKABUBAK
On arrival at Mau'Hau Airport of Waingapu - East Sumba, our guide will meet you and transfer to local restaurant for lunch. After lunch drive to overland to Waikabubak - West Sumba a distance of 137 km (4 hours). On the way stops at Waibakul and Pasunga (Anakalang area) to see the greatest stone graves and traditional houses of West Sumbanese . On arrival at Waikabubak direct check into Monandang Hotel or Monalisa Hotel for accommodation and meals. (L,D)
Day 02  DAY 02: WAIKABUBAK - WAINGAPU
Breakfast at hotel. Visiting some villages which located at small hills nearby the city of Waikabubak such as Puunaga, Tarung and Tabar, then to the local market to see the activities of local people in selling and buying their daily need and hand-weaving. Return to hotel for lunch. Drive back to Waingapu for accommodation and dinner at Merlin hotel. (B,L,D)
Day 03  WAENGAPU - KUPANG
Breakfast at hotel. Visit Prailiu traditional village nearby the city for traditional houses, stone graves and spectacular traditional "Ikat" weaving. Back to hotel for early lunch. Then transfer to the Airport for flight to Kupang - Timor Island. On arrival at Eltari Airport of Kupang, transfer to Cristal hotel for accommodation and dinner. (B,L,D)
Day 04  KUPANG - SOE
Breakfast at hotel. In the morning enjoy Kupang city tour for visiting Kupang Museum, with its collection of fossils, anthropological artifacts, "Ikat" weavings textile, other items which reflect east Nusa Tenggara's different ethnic groups. Next, proceed to the market to see local people buying and selling their daily needs, then on to Lesiana beach to see the traditional process of making sugar palm. Lunch at local restaurant. Then drive to Soe, a distance of 110 km for 3 hours through beautiful panoramas of rice fields, farms, jungles and savanna. Stops will be made at Oebelo, a Rottenness village famous for its unique music instrument called "Sasando", made from "lontar" palm leaves. Upon arrival check into your hotel for accommodation and dinner. (B,L,D)
Day 05  SOE - KUPANG
DAY 05: SOE - KUPANG Breakfast at hotel. Visit Boti - moat traditional village in Timor to see their traditional houses, ikat weaving and to be with the King of Boti and his people to learn their tradition and custom. Return to Soe for refreshment then drive back to Kupang. Accommodation and dinner at Cristal hotel. (B,L,D
Day 06  KUPANG - MAUMERE
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport for flight to Maumere - Flores Island. On arrival at Waioti Airport of Maumere at 14.30 direct drive 12 Km to eastern Maumere town (15 minutes drive) then check-in at FLORES SAO RESORT for meals and accommodation. Afternoon, free at leisure or relax on the beach. Accommodation and dinner at hotel. (B,L,D)
Day 07  MAUMERE - MONI
Breakfast at hotel. Drive-up to Moni for 4 hours with several stops at Ledalero - a major Catholic Seminary - to visit the museum with its various collection of local royal families' old portraits, antique hand woven clothes, stagedeon fossils, etc. Proceed to Sikka village - a center of "Ikat" hand weaving to see the traditional weaving process and an old church built in the 16th Century. Onto Page beach for having lunch. If weather permits, direct drive up to Kelimutu to see the three color lakes. Continue to Moni, upon arrival check in at Hidaya or Floresare hotel. (B,L,D)
Day 08  MONI - BAJAWA
After an early morning breakfast at 5.30 drive up to Kelimutu volcano to see the three colored lakes. Upon arrival walk for 1,5 km and then ascend 127 steps to top to view Kelimutu's green, blue and black lakes. A Dutch Geologist discovered Kelimutu in 1914; at the time the lakes were red, blue and white. Descend to Moni village to view beautiful hand woven clothes and to visit Kowanara village famous for its traditional Lionese houses. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Ende. Continue drive to Bajawa with stop at Boawae - village of Nagekeo tribes to observe their tradition and culture. Proceed to Wogo - another traditional Bajawanese village through scenic road where you can enjoy beautiful panorama of the valley with sea as the background. Accommodation and dinner at Bintang Wisata hotel. (B,L,D)
Day 09  BAJAWA - RUTENG
Breakfast at hotel. Explore traditional village of Bajawa tribes. Visit Boloji or Warusoba village to attend dance performance of Bajawanese followed by "Suling" - cluster of Bamboo flute concert music. Proceed to Bena - a megalithic village where people do preserve their ancestral spirits believed and way of life which can be seen in their "Ngadhu" and "Bhaga" - conical thatched roof huts symbolized their Male and Female ancestral spirits. On the way stop on the slope of Inerie active volcano for taking pictures. Lunch at local restaurant. Continue overland to Ruteng - a cool and small town as the capital city of Manggarai Regency where major Mangarainese tribe dwelt. On arrival direct check in at Santa Maria Mission Quest house of Ruteng. (B,L,D)
Day 10  RUTENG - LABUAN BAJO
Breakfast at hotel. Visit Ruteng Puu - Manggarainese traditional village to see their unique slander-shaped houses and be with local people. Drive overland to Labuan Bajo - the Western tip of Flores Island. On the way stops will be made at Lembor and Cancar where you can enjoy the beautiful panorama of rice fields with lush and dry hills as the back ground, and other places according to local happenings. On arrival direct check iN AT Gollo Hill Top hotel. (B,L,D)
Day 11  LABUAN BAJO - KOMODO or RINCA - LABUANBAJO
Breakfast at hotel. Early morning at 4.30 AM depart to Komodo Island for 3 hours by a wooden boat (a local boat which have been modified to enable and suitable for carrying tourist. Equipped by radio navigation, electricity, and toilet, one big cabin that has-6 - 12beds, life jacket and mattress.) On arrival walk for 1.5 miles to Banugulung to see the activities of the giant Monitor Lizard "Komodo Dragon" which was scientifically described in 1912 as VARANUS KOMODOENSIS, which is up to 3 m long and about 150 kg, weight. The total number of these lizards is estimated at 5.000 - 7.000 inhabited in Komodo, Padar, Rinca Island and Western Flores. Return to the based and an opportunity to swim or snorkel on clean and white sandy beach. Lunch will be served on board. Then return to Labuanbajo for accommodation and meals. (B,L,D)
Day 12  LABUAN BAJO - DENPASAR
Breakfast at hotel. Short city sightseeing will be made, visiting to the local market and see the huge Batu Cermin (Mirror Cave) before transfer to the airport for fly back to Bali. On arrival will transfer back to your original hotel.

We choose the best available hotels in each tow, but the facilities are very basic and the cleanliness will always be the question mark. Be ready for adventure…….

WHAT TO BRING:

Dress is casual. Clothing should be light, preferably cotton with at least one long sleeved shirt and pants. Bathing suit, thongs or sandals and sneakers or walking boots, lots of film, camera, replacement batteries, and spares. Women please note Indonesia is a mostly Muslim country and custom dictates modesty. Please be well covered on shore excursions. Bring one light sweater or jacket as it can get cool in the highlands. Also bring sun-screen, insect repellent, sunglasses, sunhat, swimmers. Please advise beforehand if you have any special dietary requirements. Beer is available at local rates. Bring also your passport, visa, airline tickets, local currency and or US$ in small denominations.
